Condition
Original canvas. There are two or three faint patterns of craquelure mainly located in upper right quadrant, only visible upon close inspection. May benefit from light surface clean otherwise the work appears in good overall condition with some strong passages of impasto.
Ultraviolet light reveals a few small areas of retouching near edges of upper left quadrant, some retouching along lower edge and near centre of right edge.
Held in a gilt plaster frame.
