Condition

Original canvas. A very fine craquelure pattern, only visible upon close inspection. Surface a little dirty otherwise the work appears in good overall condition. Ultraviolet light reveals an opaque varnish. There appear to be some small retouchings around the ears of white horse, above the head of dark horse and some small minor areas elsewhere. Held in a gilt plaster frame.
