This set of Ramusio's voyages has the first edition of volume one (relating to Africa) and second editions of volumes two and three (relating to Asia and America). The maps in Ramusio have been attributed to the great Italian cartographer Giacomo Gastaldi, tutor to Ramusio's children. They include the important maps of the Americas, New England and maritime Canada.
This set of Ramusio's voyages has the first edition of volume one (relating to Africa) and second editions of volumes two and three (relating to Asia and America). The maps in Ramusio have been attributed to the great Italian cartographer Giacomo Gastaldi, tutor to Ramusio's children.
