Rare map of the Archbishopric of Monreale (Palermo) in north-western Sicily, commissioned by Bishop Ludovico de Torres, and published by Rondanini in 1597; Torres also commissioned Giovanni Luigi Lello's Historia della chiesa di Monreale, 1596, for which this map may have been intended, although it has not been found mentioned in any of the (few) copies found online.
