Overall in very good condition. The shade with approximately 5 cracks to the glass tiles dispersed throughout, all which appear stable. With some minor surface soiling to the recessed contours of the shade leading, more prevalent along the top register of the shade. The patinated bronze "Chased Pod" Senior Floor base displays an exceptionally rich and satisfying russet brown and green mottled patina. The bronze surfaces throughout with some occasional surface scratches, abrasions and rubbing with some small and minor associated patina losses to the outermost perimeter contours of the cushion base, and with some scattered traces of surface soiling and residue, all consistent with age and gentle use. All of the sockets and paddle switches appear original and undisturbed. With a replaced "Pig Tail" finial which displays a corresponding patina to the base. A very fine example of this iconic geometric model, displaying a vigorously mottled upper geometric register. When viewed firsthand, the glass is slightly more subtle and nuanced than seen in the catalogue illustration, which is slightly too red and over saturated.
