Condition
Overall in very good condition. With several small scattered air bubble inclusions inherent in the making and not at all visually detracting. The interior of the neck just below the top rim with some short successive tools marks also inherent in the making. The exterior with a few light and fine surface scratches. The interior is beautifully iridized, imparting the vase with strong luminous color on the exterior. An outstanding example with substantial visual presence. When seen in the round the abstract decoration is quite varied, imparting the vase with strong visual activity from each vantage. The glass walls are unusually thick (1/4 inch) and the top rim is wonderfully irregular, giving the vase a great sense of boldness and heft.
