Condition
Overall in very good condition. With some occasional minute air bubble and particulate inclusions inherent in the making, only visible under close inspection and not at all visually detracting. The exterior with a few very light and fine surface scratches. The interior as well as the top register of the vase are beautifully iridized, imparting the vase with strong luminosity and a range of brilliant hues. A gorgeous vase displaying extraordinary rich color and an unusual decorative technique. The vase is cased in red, and the molten glass was pulled and shaped with pliers to form the decorative prunts. When viewed in person the colors are more nuanced than see in the catalogue illustration which is slightly over saturated. The bottom half of the vase appears a rich tomato red, with the red intensifying in saturation as it reaches the peripheral prunts.
