Catalogue Note
Edward Trumbull studied at the Art Students League of New York, and in London under renown muralist Frank Brangwyn. Trumbull is well-known for the public murals he created for the Heinz Administration Building in Pittsburgh, the Pennsylvania Capitol Complex, and in New York for the Chrysler Building and Grand Central Terminal, including the famous Oyster Bar.
