Condition

The prints are in good condition, the full sheets. There is pale mat-stain, darkest at the mat openings. The versos, with two to four hinge remnants in the corners. Each sheet has foxing to some degree. In the published edition, the right margin is foxed both recto and verso. The bottom margin and left margin, recto and verso, of state III are foxed. Foxing shows through from verso to recto of the left side of states I and II. States I and II with occasional soft handling creases. The top sheet edge of at left state I is creased. Stray ink in the top and bottom margins of state III.
