This illustration was published, reversed, on pages 52-53 of In His Own Write. Although the poem entitled 'I Sat Belonely' appears later in the book, on page 64, it appears that the subject matter of the illustration and poem are linked. Moreover, what seems to be a variant version of this drawing (see photocopy in lot 51) is annotated by Lennon "I sat Belonely".
