Der Frühling hat Einzug gehalten. Adolf Dietrich zeigt das Erwachen der Natur nach dem Winter in frischen und leuchtenden Grüntönen bei topografischer Detailtreue. Dietrich hat seine Bilder nicht vor Ort gemalt, sondern zuhause in seiner Stube aus seinem Gedächtnis oder basierend auf Postkarten und Abbildungen. Jedes seiner Bilder ist eine Erinnerung, eine Verarbeitung seiner Gefühle, seiner Stimmungen und seiner Erlebnisse. So auch diese herrliche Darstellung des Untersees, der Heimat des Malers, an einem strahlenden Tag bei wolkenlosem Himmel.
