the prow painted en plein with a winter troika, the sides and hook handle with shaded cloisonné enamel stylised flowerheads, amorphic and geometric forms on textured and olive green grounds, struck K Fabergé in Cyrillic beneath the Imperial Warrant, 88 standard, scratched inventory number 24670
Condition
The interior of the bowl with wear to the gilding. Two areas of loss to the background of the en plein troika scene, some of which is visible in the printed catalogue illustration. Two of three areas of enamel loss to the ground around the upper edge of the prow and a very few further minor losses throughout.
