  • height 14cm, 5 1/2 in.
formed as a six-pointed star, the surface enamelled in translucent canary yellow over sunburst engine-turning, seed pearl bezel and border, faux ivory back, silver scroll strut, struck with workmaster's initials and Fabergé in Cyrillic, 88 standard, scratched inventory number 14526

Condition

Very good condition. The enamel with two hairline cracks to the upper left section, each approx 1cm long. The faux ivory back with two cracks to the left hand side, reaching from the edge to the clock case. The screws do not appear to have been out. The metal areas with light surface scratches. The strut very slightly loose in its hinge. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the clock mechanism.
