the finely carved bird with diamond eyes, head to one side and seated on its T-shaped perch with gilded silver claws, the perch enameled in translucent oyster over an engine-turned ground, set on round gilded silver base on three bun feet, struck with workmaster’s initials, Fabergé in Cyrillic, 91 standard, scratched inventory number 18591
