circular, enameled salmon pink over a radiating guilloché ground, the circular aperture with beaded bezel, the borders with ribbon-tied reeds, surmounted by a bow knot, with scrolling strut and wood back, apparently lacking maker's mark, 88 standard

attractive coloring and overall very good condition; some small wear to gilding and to wood back, the sides with some scratches consistent with age and use

Catalogue Note

The quality and color of the frame's guilloché enamel suggests that it was produced by the 3rd Artel, a workshop founded by former Fabergé staff; their work was so fine that they often supplied the larger firm.
