both oval, the first bright-cut with swags and trophies, cover with champlevé blue, green and pink enamel, maker's mark MC with device below on inside of cover and base, probably Swiss; the second with cover decorated with stripes of champlevé white and dark blue enamel centered by a chased flower spray, maker's mark unclear on rim, possibly German
