Condition

The canvas has been strip lined. There are frame abrasions along all four edges with associated paint loss. There is a layer of surface dirt. There is stable craquelure, particularly to the areas of impasto. Inspection under UV light reveals retouching along all four edges and minor scattered retouching throughout. Held in a wooden strip frame and a gold painted wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
