Condition

Original canvas. Covered with a layer of surface dirt and slightly yellowed varnish. Some very minor specks of paint loss at the top of the sitter's head and in the lower left corner. Some minor craqueleur in the black pigment. Inspection under UV light does not reveal any signs of restoration. Held in a simple wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
