Condition

The is undulating slightly. Covered in a layer of surface dirt. There is slight foxing and minor stains in the lower right corner of the composition. There are two minor abrasions in the lower right corner. Held in a plain black wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.

Catalogue Note

Ifan Kyrle Fletcher was a well-known London book dealer specialising in the performing arts and founder of the Society for Theatre Research. He and Larionov corresponded regularly, and Kyrle Fletcher and his wife Constance are known to have owned several works by both Goncharova and Larionov.
