Condition
Original canvas with three patches visible on the back. There are abrasions along all four edges. The surface is covered in a layer of dirt. There is craquelure and paint shrinkage throughout. Inspection under UV light reveals retouching along the right and left edges, in the sky and in the trees on the right of the canvas. Held in a large gold painted frame. Unexamined out of frame.
