Condition

Original canvas. Covered with a layer of surface dirt and a thick yellowed varnish. Minor paint loss and frame scuff marks along the edges. Minor craqueleure visible, particularly visible in sky and moon. Inspection under both UV light and natural light, widespread restoration is visible, including including a 13 cm wide area in the centre right of the canvas. Held in black and gold painted frame. Unexamined out of frame.
