Condition

Original canvas. The paint surface has cracked throughout and there are abrasions and associated paint along all four edges if the canvas, particularly in the lower right corner. The paint surface is covered in a layer of dirt. Inspection under UV light reveals a small area of retouching on the wall to the left of the boy in the doorway and small spots elsewhere. Held in a simple gold and grey wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
