campana form, the base chased with a border of leaves, the coolers with gadroon borders and a band of anthemion and scrolls, each side engraved with coats of arms, handles centered by acanthus, crested plain liners and detachable rims with entrelac borders

Catalogue Note

The arms are those of Antrobus baronets, for Sir Edmund Antrobus of Antrobus Hall. F.R.S. and F.S.A. created a baronet in 1815 with remainder to his nephews Edmund and Gibbs Crawford. He died unmarried in 1826.

A print of Sir Edmund Antrobus by George Clint published in 1803, after a painting by Sir Thomas Lawrence, is located in the National Portrait Gallery, London (NPG D7078).
