Condition

Pile ranges from original 1/6th of an inch in various borders with the majority of the carpet low to knotheads and foundation with lowest areas having repiling and tinting. A 6x3 inch stepped reweave in field. Large reweave at upper end, 20x3 inches. Smaller scattered reweaves. Later overcast sides. Partial end guardborders, now secured with cloth banding on reverse. Some later sewn patches to back over areas of restoration. Very flexible handle, sound fabric, restored condition, will enhance with cleaning. Please note that a license may be required to export textiles, rugs and carpets of Iranian origin from the United States. Clients should enquire with the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regarding export requirements. Please check with the Carpet department if you are uncertain as to whether a lot is subject to this restriction or if you need assistance.
