Condition

Pile generally good near original 1/8th of an inch with scattered areas of foldwear and dark browns oxidized to knotheads and spot foundation. A 3 1/2 by 1 in. reweave on the right side of the field. Remnants of original selvages and now with losses, fraying and some later overcasting. Partial original kilim ends folded over and sewn now with some losses and fraying mostly in lower end, upper end in better condition. Very lustrous wool; good, deep saturated colors. Supple handle. Good overall condition.
