Condition
Ivory ground: Pile generally good with scattered foldwear low to knotheads. Original flatwoven end finished folded under and sewn at both ends. Original two-cord purple-brown wool selvages with small losses to lower left side. Very minor old moth damage to reverse. Flexible handle, good overall condition.
Red and light blue panelled: Very good, near original closely shorn 1/8in. pile. Very minor scattered foldwear. Original flatwoven end finishes folded under and sewn. Original blue wool selvages intact. Original applied braided indigo and madder wool finishes to upper and lower end, complete with tassels. Very good conditon.
