Condition

Pile ranges from good near original 3/4 of an inch to low to knotheads in areas of foldwear and oxidized browns. Repiling to green areas under central medallion. Some further scattered repiling to ivories and other secondary colors. A 2in. by 3in. L-shaped reweave to lower right corner. A smaller 1in. by 1in. reweave to upper right corner. Lower end lacking two rows of knots now secured with chain stitch. Upper end with original flat-woven and macrame finish. Sides partially overcast. Right side reselvaged in approximately half of the rug with some adjoining minor reweaves into outer guard stripe. Lustrous wool; very good pile in areas.
