Condition

Pile generally good, closely shorn, 1/8 inch with scattered foldwear and oxidized browns low to knotheads; most foldwear in center medallion. Upper left corner with three rectangular patches from another rug of similar age, the largest 3 x 2 inches. A few small repaired holes, not serious. Minor scttered repiling, not extensive. Sides later overcast. Minor partial outer end guard borders. Upper end with velcro band sewn to reverse. Supple handle, lustrous wool, vibrant color, good overall condition.
