Condition
Pile ranges from good, dense near original 1/10 inch to low to knotheads in minor foldwear areas. Very small, repiled moth damage area in lower end border. Some scattered vertical foldwear. Minor spot stains. Sides with original twisted red and blue wool selvages, now fraying in areas with some later overcasting---mostly on left side.
Both ends secured with binding stitch. Upper end with velcro band sewn to reverse. Lustrous wool, supple handle, sound fabric and good overall condition.
