Condition
Pile very good, near original 1/5in. with dark browns oxidized to knotheads creating a relief effect in border. Scattered areas of foldwear low to knotheads and spot foundation. Minor repiling. Small 2in. area with hot red color in upper left corner; probably repiling. Two-cord madder red selvages with some olater overcasting. Rewoven end guard stripes at both ends. Velcro strip sewn on reverse at uppper end. Very supple handle, lustrous wool, good overall condition.
