Condition

Pile generally low to knotheads throughout. Scattered foldwear and oxidized dark browns with visible spots of foundation in areas. Upper end guard border and section of border rewoven with two long and narrow reweaves into the inner guard borders: on one side approximately 12 inches, on the other side approximately 20 inches in length. Lower end guard border rewoven. Side guard stripes rewoven. Some further smaller reweaves. Lower half of sand colored field repiled completely. Some further scattered repiling throughout most to rest of sand-colored field. Both ends with cloth bands sewn on reverse and upper end with hanging hooks on reverse. Supple handle; sound fabric and condition.
