Condition

Pile ranges from good 1/6th of an inch, mostly in borders to low to knotheads and some minor spot foundation in field. Some scattered repiling to foldwear. Scattered repiled old moth damage to left side border wtih some old moth damage, most now repiled. Some scattered small reweave to lower end of carpet, largest being approx 5" by 3". Upper end with remnants of knotted fringes, and now both ends secured with blanket stitch. Sides overcast. Supple handle, sound fabric and condition, will enhance with cleaning. Please note that a license may be required to export textiles, rugs and carpets of Iranian origin from the United States. Clients should enquire with the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regarding export requirements. Please check with the Carpet department if you are uncertain as to whether a lot is subject to this restriction or if you need assistance.
