with silk highlights.
Condition
Pile ranging from approximately 1/8th of an inch to low knotheads. Silk highlights mostly around the prayer arch. Some scattered minor moth damage, some now repiled but not extensive. Small restitched hole in right side border. Some further minor small restitching, not extensive. Lower end with original flat-weave finish with some minor slits and losses. Upper end with flat-woven and macrame finish now with hanging rings on reverse. Sides with partially original white cotton selvages and now with some losses and overcasting. Very supple handle. A few small motifs with hot orange red, probably a chemical dye. Sound fabric and condition.
