  • glazed stoneware
the middle section pierced with shaped floral cartouches, all between overlapping trefoil leaves, the top pierced with a cash coin and the bottom moulded with lotuses, glazed in green, turquoise, blue and beige

Condition

The stand is in fair condition. There are losses to the foliate decoration, especially to the tips of the trefoil motifs. The base is broken and restored, with extensive infilled cracks and painted restoration. There is a 8.5 x 3cm restored chip to the rim at the top. The top of the stand has a 2.5 x 2.5cm circular area of firing flaw. There are general surface wear and other minor firing imperfections.
