Description

- 156cm. high, 97cm. wide, 54cm. deep;5ft. 1½in., 2ft. 1¼in., 1ft. 9in.
the doors opening to reveal ten fitted drawers, on a later grained bronze mounted stand, bearing an inventory label underneath the stand
Condition
The top of this cabinet is also lacquered with cockerel figures and shows many marks, scratches and losses to varnish throughout; the lacquer decoration of the top is worn.
The sides have marks and scratches, the right side with one big vertical mark.
Doors with visible joint cracks and one shirking crack to right hand door and lesser marks and scratches and small losses to varnish.The gilt brass key plates, mounts and handles are original.
The early 19th century European-made plinth has some marks and scratches and has lost its key escutcheon; bronze mounts dirty.
