Condition
There are some small repairs and reweaves in areas of the border and main panel. For example see the terracotta areas in places, which is later reweaving. Some probably in areas where original browns have oxidised. Some minor repairs to the light areas, for example bird plummage, to stabilise the areas.
Lined with linen, and with tabs across the top for a pole. It is recommended that Velcro be applied for hanging in the future.
Very decorative tapestry. Evocative backdrop. Some charming details, including the birds and animals. Balanced composition and colour. Professionally restored in the past and in stable condition.
