Condition

As shown in the paper catalogue, starting top left: 1) The canvas has a two areas of flaked paint lower right and left, and a smaller patch in the upper part, all have been repaired. There is a small bump in the canavs upper right, but no tear. 2) Areas of repair of lost paint on the left hand side of the canvas. 3) Repaired areas small and minimal. 4) Patches of repainting, and very worn in places, there is small bump in t the canvas lower right. Ultraviolet light reveals blotchy retouching. But the face is well- preserved. 5) Canvas is unlined and a little lose. There is a larger amount of lost paint, all repaired, than in the previuos four works. The inscriptions are relatively well - preserved.
