Description

comprising a large centrepiece with three figures and two smaller ones with two figures, each modelled with classically-draped dancing Bacchic maidens holding a staff and supporting a pierced basket decorated with vinery, the circular plinth decorated in relief with putti, garlands and acanthus, each signed Thomire a Paris

Condition

In overall good clean condition; one of the smaller centrepieces has had the frieze holding the basket re-attached. The surface of these pieces has been recently cleaned and the baskets and possibly the grapevine friezes have been re-gilt.
