Condition
The canvas has not been lined. There is a small dent in the floor below the chair with some tiny spots of associated paint flaking. Ultraviolet light reveals an uneven varnish layer and some areas of unusual fluorescence, however these would certainly appear to be the artist's original pigments and there does not appear to be any significant visible retouching. This work is in good condition.
Presented in a decorative gilt frame.
