Description

  • Gilt-bronze
  • 57cm. high; 1ft. 10½in.
each with fluted and anthemion decorated baluster column on a cylinder base, the top issuing a central finial and five branches with candle holders and glass drip-pans

Almost certainly supplied to Stéphanie, Princess de Beauharnais, Grand Duchess of Baden (1789-1860);

Condition

This attractive pair is in overall good original condition, with later glass drip pans. One bobeche missing. Please note that the dating for this pair of candelabra is circa 1825 and not circa 1815.
