Condition
The colors are extremely vibrant and the sheets in good condition. Some of the sheets have pale discoloration only in the margins (five sheets with scattered foxing on the verso)
Please read the note about this set which explains that it belonged to the printer Teriade, and thus was never supposed to have the cover, justification page, title page, etc. So this set is complete, it is not lacking anything.

Catalogue Note
The present lot was acquired by the Isselbacher Gallery in 1984 directly from Madame Tériade. It is considered a printer's proof set and was never accompanied by the title page, justification, table of contents or the portfolio cover. Of the vertical images,one of the five (plate 3, M. Loyal) includes the facsimile text on half the sheet customarily seen only in the folded edition.
