Etching, drypoint, soft ground with the imprint of granulated paper, 1910, Knesebeck's fifth state (of eight), signed in pencil, on thick wove paper, printed by Felsing, Berlin, framed
Condition
The print is in good condition, with wide (full?) margins. The sheet is toned with pale mat-stain progressively darker towards the sheet edges. A skillfully repaired 1/4 x 1 1/2 inch paper loss above the signature. The sheet edges with unobtrusive creases and occasional nicks in the sheet. The left sheet edge at top with numerous repairs 1/4 inch long. There is a damp stain in the right sheet edge at bottom, verso, showing through
