A terre de faïence pitcher and vase, 1955 and 1959, the first from the edition of 500, the second numbered 44/500, each inscribed 'Edition Picasso' and 'Madoura', the first partially glazed and painted black, blue and brown, the second glazed and painted blue and white, each with the Edition Picasso and Madoura stamps (2 ceramics)
Condition
The ceramics are in good condition. The first (A. R. 293) with surface soiling at the top of the handle and craquelure in the brown painted glaze, which is flaking in one spot in the right side of the pitcher. The second (A. R. 435) several scuff marks in the rim near the tail, imperfections in the bottom of the glaze and a quarter inch area of yellow discoloration in the neck.
