The complete portfolio, comprising nine photo-lithographs, 1919, each print signed in pencil, numbered 3 on the justification page from the edition of 20 on japon (total edition includes 120 portfolios), published by Der-Malik Verlag in 1920, Berlin, contained in a contemporary leather binding and portfolio box (9 prints) 

Condition

The prints are in good condition, with full margins. The majority of prints with inconspicuous damp-stain and occasional foxing in the left and top sheet edges. Unobtrusive surface soiling at the periphery of the sheets and time-stain at the extreme sheet edges. (Soft handling creases, only visible in raking light). The versos of the majority of the prints, with occasional, inconspicuous stray ink. Additional imperfections to individual prints include: Plates III and IV with scattered foxing. There are vertical creases 8 and 6 inches long at the periphery of plates V and VIII.
