The complete portfolio, comprising eight screenprints in colors and justification page, 1990, each signed in pencil and numbered 119/150 (total edition includes 30 artist's proofs), on Arches Roll Stock Rag paper, with the ink-stamp of the printer Styria Studios, Inc., New York on the verso, published by Gaultney-Klineman Art, New York, contained in the original paper wrapper with corrugated cardboard support (8 prints)

Condition

With full sheets and fresh colors printed to the edges, the prints are in good condition. The edges of six of prints are bent by varying degrees (Ada in Hat, Ada with Sun Glasses, White Hat, Orange Hat, Green Jacket and Sweatshirt II). The most benign an inconspicuous 2 1/4 by 1/4 inch bend at the bottom of the right sheet edge in Ada in Hat; the most severe a 12 by 1/4 inch crease accompanied by ink loss in Orange Hat. Detailed photographs available upon request. Additional imperfections particular to Alex Katz, Self-Portrait (Passing) and Grey Ribbon: Alex Katz, Self-Portrait (Passing): Several hard creases in the bottom right corner with associated ink loss. Grey Ribbon: An inconspicuous scuff mark in the right of the sheet at bottom.
