Aquatint printed in colors, 1900, a strong impression of the only state, signed in pencil, inscribed 'epreuve d’artiste', a rare artist's proof printed with variation in color before the edition of 30, on laid paper backed with thin Japan paper
Condition
With wide margins, the image is in good condition, a small horizontal repaired tear at upper left corner (approx. 2.5cm), upper right corner repaired and with paper fragments missing (largest area measuring 5 by 2cm), a minute circular repaired tear in lower right margin, pale paper discoloration, margins previously folded back and flattened. (Pencil inscriptions verso).
