Lithograph with extensive handcoloring in red, yellow and blue, 1899, a unique and rare proof recorded in Adriani and Wittrock, before the lettering and colour stones, signed in pencil, dedicated ' a Stern/Dans l'emotion d'un/premier dêbut', printed by H. Stern, Paris, on wove paper 

Printed to the edges at upper and lower sheet edges, left and right with a small margin. The red color attenuated. In good condition apart from light-and mat-staining, soft handling marks, two minute nicks at extreme lower right and lower left sheet edge, a minute vertical tear at lower right sheet edge supported by tape verso, remains of tape at five further places verso.
