Lithograph printed in red and yellow, 1892, one of Wittrock's four trial proofs and one of two known proofs of the color stones without the olive-green key stone, on two joined sheets, linen-backed, printed by Ancourt, Paris, published by Victor Joze, framed

Condition

With margins on all sides, linen-backed sheets, the print is in good condition. Pale light-stain and slightly attenuated colors. Tears throughout, the largest spanning the width of the top sheet with black ink beginning to separate from the paper. Several areas of made-up paper loss; the largest 7 inches long and 1/4 of an inch wide. Additional imperfections include creases throughout and mottled discoloration concentrated in the join of the two paper sheets.
