Condition

D. 588 with full margins, in good condition apart from the palest paper discoloration at extreme sheet edges, minor surface soiling at upper right in the margin, a small area of white residue at top centre in the margin, unexamined on the verso as tightly hinged along sheet edges, framed. D. 589 with full margins, in good condition apart from very pale minute scattered foxing (only visible upon close inspection), two small skinned areas at upper corners (due to previous hinges). The verso with occasional handling marks at right sheet edge, unframed.

Catalogue Note

The working proof was exhibited at 'Miró-Barbarà: Processos del gravat', Palma de Mallorca, 1999, organised in collaboration with the Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró in Mallorca and illustrated in the exhibition catalogue.

Both works were acquired and are accompanied by certificates of authenticity from the printer, Joan Barbarà.
