The portfolio, comprising 19 of the 20 etchings with aquatint (lacking plate 19), 16 printed in colours, 1965, 15 signed in pencil, each numbered 37/130, also numbered on the justification, loose (as issued), on BFK Rives paper, published by Atelier Crommelynck, Paris, with title and text, contained in the original canvas covered box

Condition

With full margins, in good condition apart from pale time-stain at the sheet edges, pale discoloration on the verso of the last print. One plate with damp-staining in the lower margin, and to a lesser degree at upper left and top margins, not affecting the image. A single mottled fox mark at centre verso of another plate. The portfolio box worn at edges, with minor surface scuffs and soiling.
